Greater Texas Foundation welcomed 22 undergraduate students to Bryan/College Station in February for the 2020 GTF Scholars Leadership Conference. The students, all early college high school graduates participating in the GTF Scholars program, represented eight institutions across the state.

The conference featured team-building activities at the ChallengeWorks ropes course; an etiquette dinner led by Randi Mays-Knapp at The Stella Hotel; and a workshop centered on developing and using personal strengths led by Holly Kasperbauer and Marilyn Santiesteban of the George Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University.

The leadership conference is part of the GTF Scholars program, which provides financial, academic, and social supports to early college high school graduates seeking baccalaureate degrees at select institutions in Texas. For more information, visit our GTF Scholars page.
