Greater Texas Foundation supports initiatives that increase rates of postsecondary enrollment and completion for all Texas students, with a particular focus on students who may encounter barriers to postsecondary success. We are headquartered in Bryan, Texas.
Our work is guided by a strategic plan based on the following principles:
- Support for regional-level work is critical so that regions across Texas can better collaborate, share information, and align systems that support the success of all students.
- A focus on specific issues can provide leverage points for improving postsecondary outcomes across Texas.
- We have a responsibility to use multiple roles beyond traditional grantmaking to achieve greater impact, including roles related to research, convening, and policy advocacy.
We believe that by addressing these three areas, we can be more strategic, flexible, and effective in advancing postsecondary education in the state of Texas.
Many challenges facing Texas are immense, much bigger than we alone can address. For this reason, we intentionally engage state and national partners to achieve our goals and objectives. We have learned much about the challenges that Texas students face on their road to postsecondary completion, and we are thankful for strong and committed partners to help Texas students overcome them.
