Greater Texas Foundation supports initiatives that increase rates of postsecondary enrollment and completion for all Texas students, with a particular focus on students who may encounter barriers to postsecondary success. We are a private foundation headquartered in Bryan, Texas. Since inception, we have approved more than $90 million in grants to support Texas students.
Our current work is guided by a strategic plan designed to increase the number of Texans who:
- Complete a certificate, associate degree, or baccalaureate degree leading to a living-wage job, particularly students of color, adult learners, and low-income students
- Experience academic pathways to and through postsecondary education that are affordable, clear, and efficient
- In rural regions, have the academic resources, guidance, and support necessary to complete a postsecondary credential
- Experience mathematics pathways that allow them to successfully prepare for and complete a postsecondary credential
