Allison earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from Florida College in 2009, followed by an M.Ed. in Reading Education from Vanderbilt University in 2010. She then taught fourth-graders in Nashville, TN, and Columbia, SC, for four years. In 2014, Allison stepped out of the classroom to study Education Policy at the George Bush School of Government and Public Service. Upon completing her M.P.A. in 2016, she became a Research Analyst for the Texas A&M Foundation, where she assisted fundraisers in leveraging data to maximize their effectiveness. She joined GTF in March 2017.
Allison enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, playing music, and baking delicious desserts.
