Grant Announcement: Increasing College, Career, and Military Readiness in the Permian Basin

As part of the Texas Impact Network (TIN) The Commit Partnership will increase college, career, and military readiness of students in the Permian Basin with a $174,500 grant from Greater Texas Foundation. The Texas Impact Network was formed to empower schools to maximize funding available through the College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) Outcomes Bonus created by the Texas State Legislature in 2019. This project will bring together the Education Partnership of the Permian Basin and Educate Midland to provide data-driven evaluation of current CCMR programming and development of a strategic plan to increase the number of students meeting the CCMR Outcomes Bonus criteria in Ector Country ISD, Midland ISD, Greenwood ISD, and Stanton ISD. This project has the potential to generate up to $15.5 million annually in additional funding among the four school districts.
