With support from Greater Texas Foundation, the Institute for Evidence-Based Change (IEBC) will implement its signature program, Caring Campus, at 10 community colleges in Texas to increase students’ connectedness, sense of belonging, and overall success. Caring Campus provides coaches for staff and faculty at institutions to identify and implement specific behaviors that lead to cultural shifts on campus. These cultural shifts are furthered by enhanced policies and procedures that respond to the current needs of students and address structural barriers to equity and student success. Partnership with Greater Texas Foundation will allow IEBC to implement Caring Campus in two cohorts of five community colleges each in distinct regions of the state.
