A $55,851 planning grant to Blinn College from Greater Texas Foundation will support the development of the Rural Schools Postsecondary Academy (RSPSA). The project will allow leaders of the Blinn campus at Schulenberg to collaborate with community partners, including five school districts, the Region 3 Education Service Center, and Schulenberg Public Library, to create a research-informed model for providing dual credit opportunities to rural students. Blinn and partners will increase students’ participation in and completion of dual credit classes, creating a seamless transition to postsecondary education.
