Grant Announcement: South Texas College to help more adults earn GED and industry credentials

South Texas College is launching a new program – the Healthcare and Information Technology Postsecondary Career Pathways Project – to help working-age Hidalgo and Starr county residents without a college degree earn postsecondary credentials. Individuals participating in the project will co-enroll in GED and technical training programs that lead to industry-recognized certifications in healthcare and information technology fields.
