Dr. Andrea Robledo

Prior to joining Greater Texas Foundation, Dr. Robledo served as the Director of STEM HSI Success Programs at Angelo State University. She led student support services for the David L. Hirschfeld Department of Engineering and established a faculty development training program in culturally responsive pedagogy based on university values.

Andrea also served as a graduate assistant for Lumina Foundation where she contributed to the Latino Student Success portfolio. Dr. Robledo holds a B.A. in Psychology from Texas A&M University, an M.A. in Applied Anthropology from University of North Texas, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University. 

Her broad educational training and years of experience have focused on improving educational outcomes for students of color. She loves to spend time with family and friends. In addition to being a staunch supporter of higher education, she also enjoys dancing to Latin music (she’s a huge Selena fan) and watching Aggie football.
