Grant Announcement: English Learner Status and Postsecondary Outcomes

With a $399,999 grant from Greater Texas Foundation, The University of Texas at Austin will research postsecondary outcomes for students who participated in English Learner support services in the K-12 system. The study has three primary research goals: 1) Describe pathways for these students to and through higher education relative to other students, 2) Understand how these students’ K-12 educational experiences predict postsecondary enrollment and attainment, and 3) Illuminate how early college experiences and college characteristics predict attainment among students who have ever utilized English Learner support services.
