Grant Announcement: Higher Education Reporting and Data

With a grant of $200,000 from Greater Texas Foundation, The Texas Tribune will enhance its education data applications and education reporting so Texans have ready access to important education information and explanatory journalism. Over a two-year period, the Tribune will create new data visualizations and features as well as maintain and promote the popular Schools Explorer that combines the Public Schools Explorer and Higher Ed Outcomes Explorer into one comprehensive data tool that more fully serves readers. Tribune journalists will produce robust education reporting, including coverage of the 86th session of the Texas legislature, that informs Texans on education issues and increases accountability.
