Grant Announcement: Understanding the Work-Based Learning Landscape for Women and Mothers in Texas

A $200,000 grant to Young Invincibles will support research to better understand the work-based learning landscape for women and mothers in Texas. The research team will seek to understand young adult women’s perceptions of and experiences with apprenticeship programs, as well as barriers to participation they may face. The work will culminate in a recommendations platform to be shared with key government agencies, schools, and business leaders working to expand work-based learning programs in Texas.
