In partnership with 21 rural Texas school districts, the Rural Student Success Initiative (RSSI) seeks to improve accessibility and quality of non-academic college access and retention supports for rural high school students. RSSI leverages AgriLife Extension’s place-based platform to develop meaningful partnerships with rural ISDs and their local communities. With $620,892 from Greater Texas Foundation, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension will continue to operate the Rural Student Success Initiative and expand its reach across rural Texas.
