EMERGE Fellowship will expand its support for first-generation, low-income students in Texas with a
$300,000 grant from Greater Texas Foundation. EMERGE empowers and prepares high-performing students from underserved communities to attend and graduate from selective colleges and universities across the nation. Through this grant, EMERGE will serve an increased number of Texas students and develop formal “five-star partnerships” with three major Texas institutions to ensure they dedicate resources to meet the unique needs of their first-generation, low-income students.
