Researchers at Texas State University will investigate the effectiveness of learning frameworks courses with a $315,837 from Greater Texas Foundation. Learning frameworks courses are designed to provide students with tools for academic success by teaching the theory and psychology of learning, application of learning, and motivational strategies. This study will evaluate the effectiveness of these courses at increasing student academic achievement, persistence, and completion of a credential at Texas community colleges.
