Greater Texas Foundation Faculty Fellows and their mentors explored connections between their research and education policy and practice at their 2019 study meeting in Bryan, Texas. In addition to sharing updates on their studies and participating in mentoring sessions, the fellows heard a panel offering advice on broadening their sphere of influence and received an update on the 86th Texas legislative session. The event culminated in a writing workshop led by Young Invincibles that challenged fellows to articulate their vision for their research through a creative design activity and to explain the policy implications of their work in three minutes or less.
