Tarleton State University will develop clear academic pathways and expand wraparound supports for first-time-in-college students with a $691,158 grant from Greater Texas Foundation. This project has four main components: (1) Development of meta-majors to create clear academic pathways; (2) Expansion of First Year Seminars to support the transition from high school to postsecondary contexts; (3) Expansion of Living Learning Communities to create residential support structures for students grouped by meta-majors; and (4) Development of student success teams to provide academic, career, and social supports according to individual student needs.
