Grant Announcement: New research to identify and address barriers to success for part-time students

Research demonstrates that part-time college students have poorer academic outcomes than full-time students, yet recent data show more than two thirds of community college students in Texas attend part-time. With support from Greater Texas Foundation, researchers at the University of Texas at Dallas and Texas State University will explore enrollment patterns of part-time students at Texas community colleges, elevate the challenges they face, and identify where policy and practice reforms could promote their success.
