Temple College will establish a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Middle College in Taylor, Texas with a $620,107 grant from Greater Texas Foundation. The Middle College will serve eight rural school districts that surround Taylor in Eastern Williamson and Milam Counties and will provide students the opportunity to participate in dual enrollment classes on a half-day basis. This program is intended to increase the amount of dual credit accumulated by students from these eight rural school districts, increase the number of students taking STEM courses, and increase student satisfaction with STEM courses.
