With support from Greater Texas Foundation, Genesys Works-Houston will expand their innovative Career Accelerator pilot project to provide skills training and postsecondary credentialing for young adults who might otherwise become disconnected from both education and employment. Through this project, a cohort of young adults will receive 10 weeks of information technology and career readiness skills training, the opportunity to earn an industry-recognized A+ Certification through a pre-apprenticeship program, placement into full-time employment, and continued coaching and wraparound support.
