The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) will expand its statewide Course-Sharing Partnership Pilot with a $340,000 grant from Greater Texas Foundation. This initiative, initially launched with Governor’s Emergency Educational Relief (GEER) Funds and philanthropic support, engaged ten two-year public institutions, presenting an opportunity to align with an existing GTF grant focused on STEM course offerings for rural-serving institutions. The funding will enable THECB to support up to 30 institutions across the state, providing financial assistance, a course-sharing implementation manager, mentor institutions, and faculty stipends to enhance the course-sharing program’s success.
