Chris joined the foundation in October 2017 following eight years of work in nonprofit and educational institutions where he focused on fundraising, partnership building, and management of grant-funded programs. His previous professional stops include the Center on Conflict and Development and the Department of Veterinary Pathobiology, both at Texas A&M University, and Bat Conservation International in Austin, Texas.
Chris received his M.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, and he completed a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish at Texas A&M University. A proud husband and father of three children, he serves in the PTO and enjoys Aggie sports.
