Tessa earned a bachelor’s degree in Middle East Studies/Arabic from Brigham Young University, where she also worked as a researcher for the WomanStats Project. Through her affiliation with WomanStats, headquartered at the George Bush School of Government and Public Service, Tessa went on to pursue a master’s degree in International Affairs from the Bush School at Texas A&M University with concentrations in Women, Peace, & Security and International Non-Governmental Organizations. While a student at the Bush School, Tessa participated in a summer internship with Greater Texas Foundation and developed a deep connection to GTF’s mission and values. She began working as Project Associate in July of 2020.
Outside of work, Tessa enjoys spending time with her sweet husband and daughter and attempting to tame her rambunctious Australian Cattle Dog.
