To support a public-private partnership that includes Howard College, Shannon Health, TRANSFR, with other support from Region 15 Education Service Center, Concho Valley Workforce Development Board, and Local Education Agencies (LEA)s to provide healthcare education and training in the San Angelo region by equipping students with innovative virtual reality (VR) technology. The activities seek to solve the healthcare workforce shortage using a dual approach: 1) career awareness and career exploration for middle schoolers; 2) career preparation for high schoolers.
